Purpose of the Bot This bot provides MLB-related utility features for Discord servers, including game information, live scores, play-by-play alerts, watchlist alerts, schedules, standings, player data, highlights, news, and virtual economy features such as Stubs, missions, predictions, profiles, and leaderboards. This bot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Major League Baseball, MLB.com, MLB Advanced Media, Discord Inc., Top.gg, any MLB team, league, player, or organization unless explicitly stated. #### 2. Acceptable Use You agree to use the bot responsibly and in good faith. You may not: * Spam commands, buttons, menus, alerts, direct messages, or interactions. * Attempt to overload, exploit, crash, or disrupt the bot. * Abuse bugs, glitches, loopholes, cooldown issues, or unintended behavior. * Use automated scripts, self-bots, or external tools to manipulate bot features. * Attempt to bypass cooldowns, limits, blacklists, permissions, or restrictions. * Use the bot for harassment, threats, hate speech, targeted abuse, or harmful behavior. * Misuse virtual economy features, including Stubs, predictions, missions, rewards, or shop items. * Use the bot for real-money gambling, real-money wagers, sales, or cash-equivalent exchanges. * Attempt to resell, transfer, rent, or commercially exploit bot access unless explicitly allowed. The bot's Stubs economy is for entertainment purposes only. Stubs have no real-world cash value and cannot be bought, sold, traded, transferred for money, redeemed for money, or exchanged for anything outside intended bot features. #### 3. Server Responsibility Server owners and administrators are responsible for how the bot is configured and used in their server. This includes channels, roles, permissions, alerts, scheduled posts, economy features, prediction features, watchlist features, and any other server-specific settings. Server owners and administrators are responsible for making sure alert channels, direct-message-based features, command permissions, and server features are used appropriately in their community. If a server allows abuse, spam, harassment, repeated misuse, or behavior that violates these Terms, access to the bot may be restricted, disabled, or removed for that server. #### 4. Availability and Reliability The bot is provided "as is" and "as available." The bot may experience downtime, bugs, delayed data, missing data, API outages, Discord issues, hosting issues, database issues, rate limits, third-party outages, or incorrect information from third-party sources. The bot creator does not guarantee that the bot will always be online, accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free. #### 5. Billing and Payments MLB Bot does not directly collect or store credit card numbers, bank information, billing address, or payment card details. Any future payment-related feature, if introduced, would be governed by updated terms before use. #### 6. Respect Toward the Bot Creator and Support Staff Respectful criticism, bug reports, feature suggestions, and support requests are allowed and encouraged. However, disrespect, insults, harassment, threats, targeted toxicity, doxxing, abuse, or hostile behavior toward the bot creator, maintainers, or support staff will not be tolerated. If a user engages in this behavior, the bot creator may, at their discretion: * Block that user from using the bot. * Disable bot features for that user. * Remove that user from support spaces. * Blacklist the user's guild. * Make the bot leave or stop functioning in the guild where the behavior occurs. * Refuse future support to the user or guild involved. This applies whether the behavior occurs in a Discord server, direct messages, support channels, reviews, comments, public posts, or any other place connected to the bot. #### 7. Enforcement The bot creator may enforce these Terms at any time, with or without prior warning. Enforcement may include: * Temporary restrictions. * Guild blacklisting. * User blacklisting. * Feature disabling. * Removal of bot access. * Deletion, correction, or reset of bot-related economy data. * Refusal of future support. The bot creator is not required to provide continued service to users or servers that abuse the bot, violate these Terms, exploit features, or create a hostile support environment. #### 8. MLB Data and Third-Party Services The bot may use third-party data sources and APIs to display MLB-related information. Game data, player data, highlights, schedules, standings, news, injuries, transactions, scores, play-by-play data, and other information may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or incorrect. The bot creator is not responsible for errors, outages, delays, or missing information caused by third-party services, API changes, unavailable data, rate limits, or data-provider restrictions. #### 9. Virtual Economy Disclaimer The bot may include virtual Stubs, predictions, missions, shop items, profiles, leaderboards, rewards, Diamond Dynasty-style collection features, and other entertainment features. These features are fictional and for entertainment only. Stubs: * Have no real-world value. * Cannot be exchanged for money. * Cannot be sold, traded, or transferred outside intended bot features. * Cannot be purchased for real-world cash. * May be adjusted, reset, removed, or modified if abuse, bugs, exploits, or balance issues are found. Stubs, rewards, predictions, cards, or leaderboard progress are not redeemable or cash-equivalent. The bot creator may void predictions, reset balances, remove rewards, adjust payouts, correct economy data, or modify economy systems when necessary to fix bugs, prevent abuse, comply with platform rules, or maintain fairness. #### 10. Data Stored by the Bot To operate correctly, the bot may store Discord-related data such as: * User IDs. * Guild IDs. * Channel IDs. * Role IDs. * Command settings. * Alert settings. * Watchlist settings. * Scheduled post settings. * Stubs balances. * Prediction and bet history. * Mission progress. * Shop and profile settings. * Command usage logs. * Error logs. This data is used to provide, maintain, secure, and improve bot functionality. The bot does not intentionally sell personal data. #### 11. Removal and Data Requests Server owners may remove the bot from their server at any time. Users or server owners may request deletion of bot-related data where reasonable and technically possible. Some records may be retained temporarily or permanently when necessary for security, abuse prevention, debugging, moderation, legal compliance, backups, dispute handling, or service integrity. #### 12. Changes to These Terms These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the bot after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. For major changes, the bot creator may provide notice through the bot, documentation, support server, or another reasonable location. #### 13.
